PURPOSE:To realize color development using toner which contains no magnetic material by providing the 1st and the 2nd electrodes through a photosensitive body and a belt between and the 3rd and the 4th electrodes through toner and the belt in facing relation, and scattering the toner. CONSTITUTION:High-voltage power sources 12 and 13 impressed a negative voltage to an electrode 8 and a positive voltage to an electrode 7 to polarize the belt 6, and when conductive toner 9 sticks to the belt electrostatically and moves as the belt moves until the toner faces the photosensitive body 1, electrostatic force operates upon the toner 9, which is scattered toward the photosensitive body 1 to stick to an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body 1. Thus, the electrostatic force is utilized, so the need for a high-precision adjustment of a jumping development system is eliminated to perform the development using the toner which contains no magnetic material, so that the color development is possible. |
