PURPOSE:To fix a working platform on the water in deep water area by a method in which base plates are laid between piles driven into the bottom under water at places lower than the bottom of the working platform at the time when the draft of the platform is small. CONSTITUTION:A large number of piles 11 are driven into the bottom T under water. Base plates 12 are laid between the piles 11 in such a way that the upsides of the base plates are at levels slightly lower than the bottom of the working platform 13 immersed in water to a small extent. The working platform 13 is dragged onto the base plates 12, and ballast water is charged into the working platform to land it on the base plates 12. The fixing height of the water working platform can thus be altered by varying the length and driving depth of the piles 11, and therefore, the working platform can be fixed in deeper water area. |
