PURPOSE:To realize man-hour saving by reading an azimuth/distance data from a calling station and a master station of a called station while referencing a toll station location storage section and to calculating the distance between the calling station and the called station, thereby using only one kind of table out of tables to be prepared to the device. CONSTITUTION:The toll station location storage section 1 stores data of the distance and azimuth to a center part of a zone in which a toll station number is assigned from a master station as to each toll station all over the country, and when a facsimile device FAX makes a call, the distance and azimuth data corresponding to the toll station number data applied from a network control circuit 100 of the facsimile device FAX is outputted to an inter-station distance calculating section 2. A calling station data storage section 3 stores the distance and azimuth data as to toll stations to which the calling station, i.e., the facsimile device FAX belongs, the stored data is supplied to the inter-station distance calculating section 2 so as to calculate the distance between the calling station and the called station. |
