PURPOSE:To provide a metal working oil compsn. contg. a lubricating oil component such as oil or fat and a specified polyether polyol (deriv.) as essential ingredients, which is useful for high-speed and high-pressure metal working, has excellent lubricating properties and undergoes little change with time. CONSTITUTION:The metal working oil compsn. contains as essential ingredients (A) at least one lubricating oil component selected from among oil, fat, mineral oil and fatty acid ester and (B) polyether polyol (deriv.) having an MW of 300- 600,000 obtained by adding alkylene oxide to a 6-200N polyalkyleneimine (deriv.) and pref. (C) phosphoric acid compd. (e.g. phosphoric acid). The polyalkyleneimine used as raw material for (B) contains five or more of a structure of formula I in succession in the molecule, at least one of which should pref. be of formula II having OH and/or NH2 at the terminal. |
