PURPOSE:To avoide effect of noise even if a clock of a low bit rate is used by selecting the number of consecutive bits of a demodulator as (m-1) in denoting the number of consecutive bits giving a change in the amount of quantized steps of the modulator as (m). CONSTITUTION:A switch to which a transmission/reception changeover signal is applied is inserted to the circuit of the m-th bit of an operating circuit and a shift register, and when this circuit is operative as a coder, this switch is closed and when this circuit acts like a demodulator, this switch is opened to actuate the said shift register as a circuit having (m-1)-bits. |
