<p>PURPOSE:To selectively detect a specific item to be inspected by measuring electrical characteristics of a zeolite formed body. CONSTITUTION:A zeolite sensor is composed by embedding electrodes 2, 3 inside a zeolite formed body 1, and its electrical characteristics are measured between the electrodes 2, 3. The zeolite formed body 1 has multiple micropores of molecular level in size and these micropores are interconnected by fine porosities and they play the role of molecular sieve. Consequently, it is possible to compose a sensor which is sensitive to humidity, but not sensitive to SF6 gas (molecular diameter, 5.5Angstrom ) by using zeolite Ca-A (diameter of fine porosity, 5Angstrom ). Also, by the use of Ca-X (diameter of fine porosity, 8Angstrom ), a sensor which is sensitive to SF6 gas can be obtained.</p> |
