PURPOSE:To prevent the defect of a contact and damage to a photosensitive body even when the numbers of copies are taken by bringing the tips of plural brush type grounding members made of conductive fibers into contact with the photosensitive body and thus grounding the members. CONSTITUTION:The tip parts of plural grounding members 2 each formed by bundling the conductive fibers 2a in a brush shape are brought into contact with the beltlike photosensitive body 1 and grounded electrically through cables 7. The tip of each conductive fiber 2a is looped, so the photosensitive body 1 is never damaged, and even if the photosensitive body 1 shifts in position laterally or jumps, plural grounding members 2 do not cause defective contact at the same time. Thus, plural grounding members 2 are used, to reduce contacting pressure per member and no defect of grounding due to the damaging of the photosensitive body is caused even in a long-period use. |
