摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the emission of unrequired noise components to a cathode input side with a simple structure and without requiring excessive power by locating the thermion radiation section of a cathode electrode, isolated from the area of a greater part of an anode vein in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:The tip opening section 21a of an end hat 21 is extended and provided near an anode vein 12 and space P is left behind so that thermions generated from a filament 20 can be introduced to working space S. The diameter of the external surface of a cylindrical metal 17 and that of the filament 20 are formed in equal dimensions and are integrated to be set in the same potential. This magnetron oscillates and operates when heating power is applied to the filament, that is, a thermion radiation section 23 and generated thermions are introduced to the working space S. In the work space S, the positive ions formed when electrons collide against gas particles always collide against the nearest conductive section 18 immediately and are mitigated without stopping in a fixed area and flowing into the filament.
