PURPOSE:To prevent the reverse surface of a beltlike photosensitive body from being stained with toner, etc., and improve reliability and take a copy of good quality by providing a magnet seal belt on the reverse side of the beltlike photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charger 5, an optical exposure system 6, an image receiving unit 7, a paper feeding means 8, a transfer corotron 9, a separation corotron 10, a cleaning unit 11 and a photosensitive body position detector 12 are arranged opposite to the beltlike photosensitive body 1, extended almost in a triangular shape among a driving roll 2, tension roll 3, and development facing roll 4, and the magnet seal 13 is arranged between the cleaning unit 11 and the photosensitive body position detector 12 on the rear side of the beltlike photosensitive body 1, closely to the reverse surface to the photosensitive body (at about 1-1.5mm. distance from the reverse surface). Said magnet seal 13 is constituted by inserting a permanent magnet (about 500G) which is nearly as long as width of the photosensitive body 1 into an insulating case 14 provided at right angles to the photosensitive body 1.
