PURPOSE:To eliminate generation of crack of aluminium foil of the external wrapping film at the folding part to ensure excellent storing characteristic bonding only the lead terminal of the one electrode of collector to be arranged over the center folding part of external wrapping film thereto. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of external wrapping film 1 having the first surface and the second surface comprising the positive and negative electrode holes 9a, 9b with the center bending part AA' considered as the boundary is integrated with a lead terminal 7 which closes the one terminal hole 9b exceeding the center bending part AA' of said external wrapping film 1. A flat power generating element 14 is hermetically sealed by external wrapping material consisting of the first collector 6 provided bridging over the first and second surfaces and the second collector 5 provided at the second surface in such a way as being separated from said lead terminal 7 and closing the other terminal hole 9a. In the manufacturing method of battery as explained above, only the lead terminal 7 of said first collector 6 is bonded to the external wrapping film 1. |
