PURPOSE:To load speedily a film and to wind the film securely by providing an engaging member equipped with a pin which engages the winding engagement pawl of a film cassette with the winding pawl of a camera side separately from a slide plate which is operated with a knob for release. CONSTITUTION:When the film cassette 3 is loaded and a rear cover 1 is closed a projection 17 unlocks the slide plate 5, which moves up. A transmission gear 23 rotates by the upward movement and an engaging lever 6 is elevated with the energizing force of a torsion spring 8 while following up the abutting surface 10 of the gear; and the internal cylinder 11 of the film casette 3 is pressed up with its pressing-up pin 12 to engage the engagement pawl 13 with the winding pawl 14. Even if the engagement pawl 13 is not engaged with the winding pawl 11 correctly in the early stage, the motion of the slide plate 5 is not limited, so the rear cover 1 is closed normally, then the engagement pawl 13 is engaged completely with the winding pawl 14 by the subsequent rotation of the winding pawl 14, advancing the film normally. |
