PURPOSE:To To improve accuracy, by individually measuring and computing an equivalent light-curtain luminance yielded in the observer's eye from the entire field of view and an equivalent light-curtain luminance yielded in the observer's eye from a light source itself. CONSTITUTION:A movable light shielding plate 1 is attached to a position so that the visual angle of a glare lens 2 is not obstructed. An average luminance L of a sport lighting facility is measured by a light receiving device 4. The output from the light receiving device 4, i.e., a equivalent light-curtain luminance Lvt, which is yielded in the observer's eye from the entire field of view, is amplified by an amplifier 5 and stored in an operating part 6. Then, the movable light shielding plate 1 is attached to a position so that the visual angle of the glare lens 2 becomes 100 deg. or less. An equivalent light-curtain luminance Lve, which is yielded in the human eye by the luminance L, is measured by the light receiving device 4. The Lve is also amplified by the amplifier 5 and stored in the operating part 6. In the operating part 6, an equivalent light curtain luminance Lvl, which is yielded in the human eye by a light source itself, is obtained based on the stored Lve and Lvt, and an evaluating value GF of unpleasant glare is obtained. |
