PURPOSE:An apron tentioner, having a separate frame part and pressing parts formed from a material having improved abrasion resistance, and capable of renewing the tensioner only by changing the pressing parts. CONSTITUTION:An apron tensioner 14, designed to put an apron (3b) mounted on a middle top roll (4b) of a sliver drafting apparatus around a front roll 11 and press the apron (3b) downward, and constituted of a frame part 33 and apron pressing parts 37 to be screwed at the ends thereof. The frame part 33 is constituted of a horizontal part 32, rising part 33, horizontal winglike part 35 and engaging parts 36, etc., rotatably mounted around the shaft 12 of the middle top roll (3b), and urged downward by a spring 55. The pressing parts 37 are formed from a material having improved abrasion resistance in a larger thickness than the horizontal part 32 of the frame part 33 in a downward tilting shape, and fastened to the tip of the horizontal part 32 with screws. |
