NEW MATERIAL:A complex of formula I [R1 is 4-12C (substituted) polyene of the main chain having 2-4 double bonds, and coordinately bonded to Co at the diene part of the polyene except polyenes consisting only of aromatic rings; A is H or 1- 4C alkyl or phenyl: n is 1 or 2; B is 1-4C acyl], formula II [R2 is (substituted) metallocyclic cyclopentadiene residue] or formula III (R3 is substituted acetylene coordinately bonded to Co at the triple bond part). EXAMPLE:eta<4>-1,5-Cyclooctadiene-eta<5>-acetylcyclopentadiene. USE:A reaction catalyst for producing pyridines from alkynes and nitriles, having a strong catalyst activity, and capable of reducing remarkable the amount of by-products. PREPARATION:A (substituted) acylcyclopentadienylalkali metal complex is reacted with a tristriphenylphosphinecobalt monohalide, and the reaction product is then reacted with a (substituted) polyene or (substituted) acetylene. |
