PURPOSE:To detect a defect irrespective of a direction of the defect by a real time without quantizing an output of a detecting camera by arranging a rotatable prism between an object to be detected and the detecting camera. CONSTITUTION:An input picture (a) inputted to a detecting camera 3 is rotated in order of (b) and (c) by a rotation of a prism 12, and a defect in each direction becomes vertical to a scanning direction of the detecting camera. Its output is processed by a real time by a processing circuit 9 consisting of an integration circuit 10 and a comparator 11. Also, the defect is detected by a real time irrespective of a direction of the defect. |
