N-Imidazolyl derivatives of bicyclic compounds, process for their preparation and medicaments which contain them

Compounds of the general formula (I) <IMAGE> in which the radicals R1, R2, R3, R4 and Z have the meanings given in the description, are described. These compounds have useful pharmacological properties, in that they inhibit thromboxane A2 synthetase and are also suitable for the treatment of dyslipidaemias and arteriosclerosis. A process for the preparation of the novel compounds and medicaments which contain them are also described.
