PURPOSE:A food antiseptic having improved antiseptic effects, not damaging taste and flavor of food, consisting of ethyl alcohol, threonine, glycerine fatty acid ester, citraic acid (citrate), and water. CONSTITUTION:>=60w/w% ethyl alcohol, 0.01-0.05w/w% threonine, 0.05-0.5w/ w% glycerine fatty acid ester, and, if necessary, 0.05-0.2w/w citric acid (citrate), are dissolved in water.
