The impeller blower is provided with, on the goods-supply end side, with a goods-inlet opening which is smaller than the blower inlet cross-section, there being provided upstream of the goods-inlet opening a container for the free-flowing goods to be conveyed, said container preventing a free air supply, via the goods-inlet opening, into the blower after filling with the goods to be conveyed. Into the blower there opens, in the region of the blower inlet cross-section, an air-supply connection stub with a restrictor member, the adjustment of which permits the quantity of goods running into the blower out of the goods container to be metered.
