PURPOSE:To prevent wrong data from being transferred by detecting a transfer error of write or read data transferred between an information storage device and an information storage controller. CONSTITUTION:Write data sent out of a CPU is sent out of the interface circuit 20 of a magnetic disk controller DKC to the interface circuit 40 of a magnetic disk device DKU through a write line 104. The circuit 40 sends this data to the DKU, and the data is written on a magnetic disk and also transferred again to the interface circuit 20 of the DKC by a read data line 106 through a branch line 108 and a gate circuit 43 simultaneously. The circuit 20 collates the former write data with the retransferred data by a gate circuit 25, and stopping the transmission of following write data and also informs a host device of the error from a gate circuit 26 once detecting the transfer error. Further, the transfer of read data from the DKU to the DKC is the same. |
