<p>PURPOSE:To obtain free selection of construction, kinds, and a position of installing a power plant by suspending each wheel from a car body in a freely movable manner in the vertical direction, connecting an output shaft to either one of the front and rear axles, and by providing this axle with a power output part together with connecting the axle to the other axle via a power transmitting shaft. CONSTITUTION:Both the casing 40 of a belt transmission 40 and a rear fork 161 are pivotally supported around the output shaft 29 of an engine 20 in such a manner that they can freely rock up and down. Power, subjected to stepless speed change in the belt transmission 40, is changed in its speed by means of a speed change gear 70 via an automatic clutch and finally transmitted to rear wheels 8a and 8b via a rear differential gear 130. Further, the power, which is taken out of a part of a rear axle 135b via bevel gears 137 and 141, is transmitted to the front side via a front power transmission system 140. With this contrivance, the position of installing power plant can be chosen so as to be optimum from the all-over viewpoint of the vehicle.</p> |
