摘要

FIELD: transport engineering; automobile brake systems; devices for checking condition of disk brake pad friction layer. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for indication of wear of friction lining has signalling device made of steel tape and secured by pin on brake pad of disk brake. Signalling device attachment hole is made in form of hexagon whose inscribed diameter coincides with diameter of hole on brake pad. EFFECT: increased reliability of wear indicator and operation capabilities of brakes. 3 cl, 1 dwg
