PURPOSE:To attain to enhance removal efficiency of paper dust or a powder, by arranging a charging mechanism for charging paper dust or a powder deposited paper or a film and a collection mechanism for separating charged paper dust or the like from the paper surface by an electric means and conveying and collecting the same by utilizing air flow. CONSTITUTION:Charge is applied to the paper dust 6 on the surface of paper 1 by a corona discharge apparatus 2 and the charged paper dust 6 is floated between an electrode 7 and a rotary electrode 9 and collected in a collection part 13 by wind force generated by rotating the rotary electrode 9. In this case, if air is sucked from a metal net 11' by a blower, the paper dust 6 can be further efficiently collected. As mentioned above, because charge is applied to paper dust by corona charge while the charge dust is separated and floated from the paper surface by an electric field and collected by air flow, the paper dust deposited on the paper can be efficiently removed.
