FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly preparation of detergent compositions for washing in domestic conditions. SUBSTANCE: sodium percarbonate particles are coaled with 0.5-20 wt % of complex compound of boric acid or borate with organic diol or oxycarboxylic acid, e.g. citric, tartaric, gluconic, lactobionic or salts thereof containing alkali metal. Complex compound contains 50-80 wt % of boric acid or borate (in terms of H<SB>3</SB>BO<SB>3</SB>). Said compound is prepared by dissolving boric acid and oxycarboxylic acid or its soluble salt in water at 20-60 C. Alkali metal percarbonate particles are coated with complex compound by spraying aqueous solution of compound while stirring particles in fluidized bed at 30-35 C. Particles are coated at 10-60 C in mixer and they are subsequently dried in fluidized bed at 50-90 C. Detergent compositions comprise washing agent and coated particles.
