In a cattle guard grid, in which the individual links can be held in the blocking position by a retaining lever which engages on a cam attached to a rod, the retaining lever together with the link being released as a result of the rotation of the rod together with the cam, there is provided, for the selective blocking of the link, a blocking device which is held in the inoperative position by a bolt and which can be released by the latter for engagement with the link. Furthermore, a device for fixing the link in the release position is provided.
