PURPOSE:To realize the same processing effect as that in several times of passage of an electrode through a processing path only with one time passage by providing, on a wire electrical discharge processing device, a control device for allowing the wire electrode to move in repetition by a short distance at a time, and changing an offset amount at the movement of the electrode and a processing condition. CONSTITUTION:A control device 28 is provided on a wire electric discharge machine for processing any workpiece, while allowing the workpiece 22 to be placed on X-Y cross-tables 10, 16, a wire electrode 26 moving in the Z direction to penetrate said workpiece, both to move relatively to each other while permitting electric discharge to be produced between the workpiece 22 and the electrode 26, and the electrode 26 to go ahead along a processing path 30. Offset amount of the second and that on and after the third cutting are supplied from an interpolation arithmetic part 34 to an offset amount arithmetic part 50 of a control device 28. In addition, a calculated result in the arithmetic part 34 is supplied to a processing path storage part 44, as well as to a driving output part 36 via a switching control part 42. A command from this storage part 44 is supplied to the output part 36 via a sub-interpolation part 46, the switching control part 42, and the offset amount arithmetic part 50.
