PURPOSE:To reduce a device in weight and size by connecting the 2nd shunt circuit to the 1st plural shunt circuits in parallel through respective diodes. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd shunt circuit 9 is connected to the 1st shunt circuits 7-1-7-N through the diodes 8-1-8-N in parallel. When the output voltage of a solar battery rises up to the voltage at a point B, the 2nd shunt circuit 9 conducts. The circuit 9 is constituted to conduct, and to perform active operation and saturating operation between B and C. Further, the circuit 7-1 turns on at C' and is saturated between C' and C. When the circuit 7-1 enters the saturation state, a signal is sent out to the circuit 9, which raises the voltage level by DELTAC. Thus, the 1st and the 2nd shunt circuits up to N shunt circuits operate according to the output voltage of the solar battery. Therefore, the circuits 7-1-7-N operate invariably in saturated states, so the quantity of generated heat is extremely small. Therefore, small-sized semiconductor elements are used sufficiently as the circuits 7-1-7-N. |
