PURPOSE:To form the ink cassette for an on-demand type ink jet recording apparatus capable of being simply constituted at low cost, by bringing an ink discharge pipe part and a cap part to an integral structure. CONSTITUTION:A cap 50 is integrally constituted of an ink discharge part 51 and a cap part 52 and the ink discharge part 51 is bonded to an ink bag 40 by heat sealing while a rubber stopper 60 is introduced into the cap part 52 under pressure so as not to leak ink after filling. In addition, the ink bag 40 integrally mounted with the cap 50 is received in ink enclosures 10, 20 but the enclosures 10, 20 are divided into two upper and lower parts in order to save labor at the time of reception and connected at one end sides thereof by a hinge 30 while connected at the other end sides by a hook pawl 21. Therefore, by exchanging only the ink bag 40 (including the cap 50) in the enclosures according to necessity, the outer enclosures 10, 20 can be re-utilized. |
