For the common drive of two or more hydraulic cylinder/piston units, these cylinder/piston units are each connected to an allocated cylinder (10, 10a, 10b, 10c) of a driving device which has pistons (9, 9a, 9b) coupled to one another and adjustable together in these cylinders in a reciprocating manner. The driving device forms a flow divider in which the cylinder spaces on either side of the respective piston (9, 9a, 9b), via a reversing member (5, 5a, 5b), are alternately acted upon by a pump fed from a fluid supply or are connected to the allocated cylinder/piston unit (1, 2). The filling volume of the cylinder spaces is only a fraction of that of the allocated cylinder/piston units. <IMAGE>
