Apparatus and method for producing granules

An apparatus for producing granules, especially medicament granules, and a corresponding method improve conventionally unreliable production processes and make it possible to use multistage processes using low-inertia probes with automatic control, such probes providing more detailed information on the state of the material in the mixing vessel. With the aid of a programmed control it is then possible to preset various final and/or intermediate values, by means of which additives for granulating or coating are added in a controlled way, and with the aid of which the stepwise continuation of the production process can be controlled.
