Flow-controlled closing device for liquid lines in a housing (1), with a flap shaft (11) which extends through the housing (1) and which is connected to a return flap (6) and to a shock absorber (19) which damps the last section of the flap closing movement. The shock absorber (19) is arranged rigidly on the housing (1). Its central axis (X1) and the central axis (X2) of the lever arm (9) which receives the flap (6) lie together in a plane which is perpendicular to the flap shaft (11); a tappet (20, 23) of the shock absorber (19) penetrates the wall (17) of the housing (1) transversely to the flap shaft (11) so that a stop element (25') projecting from the lever arm (9) comes into contact with the free end of the tappet (20, 23) which projects into the interior of the housing (1). <IMAGE>
