The invention relates to a panel with connecting elements mounted along the longitudinal edges and matched to one another. While retaining the ease of butt-mounting and simple production of the panels, the invention achieves a panel with a much higher thermal insulation value in that it is foamed as a polystyrene rigid foam part and is covered with a film on the face side.
