PURPOSE:To firmly fix a printed image to the surface of an ordinary paper, thereby contrive to enhance preservability and make it difficult to falsify the printed matter, by passing the paper between hot press rolls after printing on it by a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:When thermal printing is conducted by laminating a thermal transfer recording paper and an ordinary paper, the printed image makes close contact with the surface of the ordinary paper used as a recording paper, but it is little penetrated into the inside part of the ordinary paper. When the printed paper is passed between the hot press rolls, namely, heated rolls applied with a pressure, the ink constituting the printed image is penetrated perpendicularly into the inside part of the ordinary paper under softening by heat and the action of the pressure, so that a fixed printed image which will not be scaled off can be obtained. Accordingly, a printed image having excellent preservability and falsification resistance can be obtained. The pressure exerted on the hot press rolls is preferably a linear pressure of about 5-10kg/cm, and the heating temperature is preferably 50-150 deg.C. |
