PURPOSE:To print out a television picture plane not only from upper side but lower side by providing a reading controlling circuit that makes address designation in the sequence entirely reverse to the sequence of address designation at the time of designation of normal rotation when reverse rotation is designated. CONSTITUTION:When writing of a video signal (v) in an image memory 2 is completed, a CPU4 gives reading address (a) to the image memory 2, and read out a gradation density signal (d2). At the time of reading, if an audience designates normal rotation by a normal rotation/reverse rotation key 8, the CPU4 reads out the gradation density signal (d2) successively from an address corresponding to the upper left corner of picture of the image memory 2. On the other hand, when reverse rotation is designated, the CPU4 reads out the gradation density signal (d2) successively starting from the address corresponding to the lower right corner of picture by converting address (a) at the time of designation of normal rotation and outputting address a1 using a conversion table 4a. Accordingly, when reverse rotation is designated, an image is printed out in reversing upside down.
