PURPOSE:To improve the strength at high temp. and the sacrificial anode effect by adding prescribed percentages of In, Mn, Fe, Si and Cu to Al. CONSTITUTION:The titled thin Al alloy plate consists of, by weight, 0.01-0.1% In, 0.5-2% Mn, 0.1-0.9% Fe, 0.1-0.9% Si, <=0.1% Cu and the balance Al. The plate has superior strength at high temp. and a significant sacrificial anode effect, and it is used as the material of fins in the manufacture of a heat exchanger by a vacuum brazing method.
