摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide an economical means of transporting hydrogen by using a lightweight, high strength material for the structural member of a cylinder, and forming a hydrogen loss prevention function with a hydrogen absorbing and storing metal. CONSTITUTION:A lightweight, high strength material 3 is molded by using HT/ EXPOXY, HM/EPOXY which are compound of carbon fiber and epoxy resin, or polyamide fiber. A hydrogen absorbing and storing metal layer 4 which is a thin layer of Mg alloy, Ti-Fe family alloy, La alloy such as LaNi5 and the like is adhered to the inner surface of said molded material 3. Since the hydrogen absorbing and storing metal layer 4 absorbes the hydrogen below a certain temperature and a certain range of pressure, and rejects further penetration of the hydrogen, it can act as a barrier against the hydrogen proliferation. In this manner, a lightweight hydrogen cylinder can be formed.</p>
