PURPOSE:To make an opening and closing part light-weight and to facilitate opening and closing operations by separating a device into an automatic original circulating device and a semi-automatic original feeding device to constitute them as units and constituting them so that they have rotation fulcrums for opening and closing independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:When the device is used in a semi-automatic original feed (SADF) mode, only a B part 16b is attached to a body 18 and is closed, and an original is supplied from a guide 13 for SADF and is ejected onto an eject tray 14 for SADF after copying. If a thick book or an original having nonstandard dimensions is copied, the B part is opened to place the original on a platen glass 2, and thereafter, the B part is closed to hold the original. When the device is used in an automatic original circulating (RDH) mode besides the SADF mode, a cover 19b is detached from the B part, and an A part is attached from above the B part. When an original 6 is placed on an original tray 7, the device can be used in the RDH mode. By this constitution, the opening and closing part is made light-weight, and opening and closing operations are made easy. |
