PURPOSE:To provide earthquake proofness, pressure resistance, shape keepability against external water pressure, etc., for a pipeline by a method in which an air- tight rubber or synthetic resin covering layer is formed on the outside of a double cylindrical woven fabrics formed by weaving weft and warp into a cylindrical shape. CONSTITUTION:In a lining material 1, a rubber or synthetic resin covering layer 3 is formed on the outer surface of a cylindrical woven fabric 2 consisting of inner and outer double cylindrical woven fabrics 4 and 5 formed by weaving warp 6 and weft 7. The cylindrical woven fabric 4 of the inner layer is joined with the cylindrical woven fabric 5 of the outer layer with connecting yarns 8. An adhesive is injected into the lining material 1 and pressed by rollers for coating, where since air in the cylindrical woven fabric 2 is allowed to escape from between the cylindrical woven fabric 4 of the inner layer and the cylindrical woven fabric 5 of the outer layer, the adhesive can easily impregnate into the fabric 2 and the staying of air in the form of bubbles in the adhesive can be avoided. The lining material 1 has sufficiently strong strength in the longitudinal direction because of the presence of the cylindrical woven fabric 2, exhibiting an earthquake resistance. The cylindrical woven fabric 2 consisting of inner and outer double cylindrical woven fabrics 4 and 5 can exhibit sufficiently strong strength wholly. |
