摘要 |
PURPOSE:To produce the titled polymer having high degradation resistance and low content of residual catalyst, without causing the corrosion of the apparatus, by polymerizing ethylene at high temperature and pressure in the presence of a highly active catalyst composed of Ti trihalide and specific two kinds of organic Al compounds. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer is obtained by polymerizing ethylene or a mixture of ethylene and >=3C alpha-olefin under a pressure of >=200kg/cm<2> at >=125 deg.C in the presence of a catalyst prepared from (A) titanium trihalide and (B) a component composed of (i) an organoaluminum compound of formula AlR<1>3 (R<1> is 1-8C alkyl) (e.g. triethyl aluminum) and (ii) a compound of formula R<2>nAlX3-n (R<2> is 1-8C alkyl; X is halogen; n is 1.5-3) (e.g. diethylaluminum chloride).
