Differential cross section filament yarns are prepd. by passing the filament yarns through the crossing endless belts, where the cross angle is fixed under the condition that (1) supply speed(vy) is faster than twist speed(vt) and releasing tension(T2) is smaller than entering tension(T1); (2) temp. of heater (7) above the belt is higher than secondary transition temp.; (3) dense portion and loose portion are located reciprocally in the opposition direction. +
