PURPOSE:To perform economically maintenance and management by connecting a testing device installed in each exchange and a test controller installed in a station in charge of maintenance through a trunk line which is used for connection of a general call. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal equipment T1 originates a call and selects a number for trouble report, an exchange EX1 connects the call to a testing device TSE. The testing device TSE transmits a telephone number N2 to the exchange EX1, and a subscriber's terminal TSL1 for test is connected to an outgoing trunk OGT1 to transfer the call to an exchange EX2 through a general trunk line TL1. The exchange EX2 connects the call to a subscriber's terminal TSL2 for test and transmits a call signal to a test controller TCL to indicate the in coming call. Next, when a test desk TD originates a call, the test controller TCL calls the exchange EX2. When a telephone number N1 is inputted next, the call is transferred to the exchange EX1 through a general trunk line TL2, and an incoming trunk ICT1 is connected to the subscriber's terminal TSL1 for test. |
