PURPOSE:To obtain a structure which endures a high water pressure for a long time, by providing a metal coat and a grooved pin and sealing up the high- pressure side between the metal coat and a body with a solder and packing an adhesive in the low-pressure side. CONSTITUTION:A part of a high polymer coating 10 of an optical fiber 9 is removed previously to expose a metal coat 11. The optical fiber 9 is buried in the groove of a grooved pin 12 and is inserted to a body 13 together with the grooved pin 12. A solder is packed among the previously exposed part of the metal coat 11 of the optical fiber 9, the body 13, and the grooved pin 12 to form a solder sealing part 14. A detaining adhesive 15 is packed among the grooved pin, the body 13, and the optical fiber 9 in the low-pressure side (in the lower side of Fig.) of this solder sealing part 14 to form an optical fiber detaining part, and the optical fiber in the high-pressure side (in the upper side of Fig.) of the solder sealing part 14 is fixed to the grooved pin 12 by a protecting adhesive 16, and a protection layer which prevents an extreme bend from being applied to the optical fiber 9 is formed. |
