PURPOSE:A composition having extremely improved co-crosslinking properties, and improved mechanical properties, obtained by blending a mixture of a halogenated EPDM and diene rubber with sulfur or a sulfur-containing compound, a guanidine and thiourea vulcanization accelerators. CONSTITUTION:A rubber component consisting of (A) 5-95wt%, preferably 20-95wt% halogenated ethylene-alpha-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber having 0.2-10wt%, preferably 0.5-7wt% halogen content and (B) 95-5wt%, preferably 80-5wt% diene rubber is blended with (C) sulfur or a sulfur-containing compound as a vulcanization agent, (D) a guanidine vulcanization accelerator and (E) a thiourea vulcanization accelerator as vulcanization accelerators. 100pts.wt. components A+B is blended with 0.3-20pts.wt. component C, 0.1- 20pts.wt. component D and 0.2-20pts.wt. component E.
