PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of photographing by inputting preferentially recorded information of a film to an exposure control circuit regardless of recorded contents of manually recorded film information when the loaded film has a film information recording part. CONSTITUTION:Film discriminating terminals 1a and 7a are provided in a detector 24, and ISO information detected by film information detecting terminals 2a-6a is inputted to an input terminal IN1 of a selecting circuit 26. Film sensitivity information from a manual setting means 25 is inputted to an input terminal IN2. The selecting circuit 26 receives the output of the detector 24 to input one of two film information to an exposure control circuit 27. If the loaded film is a CAS film, the CAS film is discriminated by conduction of the input, and this information is inputted to the selecting circuit 26 and is fed to the exposure control circuit 27. If the loaded film is not a CAS film, film information from the manual setting means 25 is sent to the exposure control circuit 27, thus preventing the failure of photographing.
