A device for chemical contact treatment of plants, and particularly of plants taller than normal vegetation, of the type comprising at least one rope which runs while describing a horizontally arranged loop, said rope being impregnated over a portion of its path with a treating liquid, characterized in that both strands (2, 41) of the rope running in opposite directions cross each other at least once within the zone to be treated and rub against each other, thereby improving the evenness of the impregnation of both strands (2, 41) of the rope, and in that the amount of impregnation of said rope is adjusted by means (5, 6, 9, 13, 16, 19) for regulating the evenness of impregnation, as said means eliminate excess liquid.</p> |
