PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent color picture signal by comparing a low frequency component of a luminance signal with a signal obtained by giving a horizontal scanning period of delay to the low frequency component of said luminance signal to obtain the correlativity between the two scanning lines and applying respectively gain control to the low frequency component of the luminance signal and a color multiplex signal whose band is limited. CONSTITUTION:The low frequency component YL of the luminance signal extracted via an LPF18 and a signal obtained by giving a 1H delay to the low frequency component YL via a delay circuit 27 are compared by a comparison circuit 30 to obtain the vertical correlativity of a luminance signal level between two upper and lower scanning lines. Further, the gain control is applied to the low frequency component YL, the color multiplex signal C whose band is limited through a BPF19 and a signal obtained by giving a 1H delay to the said color multiplex signal C via a delay circuit 20 by using three gain control circuits 31, 32 and 33. The control circuits 31, 32 and 33 are selected and inserted in each signal line by means of switch circuits 34, 35 and 36 inserted to each signal line. |
