PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of operation of a refrigerator and save energy by a method wherein a cooling water temperature is increased when a blowing air temperature of air conditioning device with a rate more than the specified value of several air conditioning units is in an allowable temperature difference and then load of the refrigerator is reduced. CONSTITUTION:Actual blowing air temperatures of each of the air conditioning units 1-1, 1-2,...1-m is measured through a temperature sensor 7', the temperature is compared with the desired air blowing temperature in the most suitable dwelling. It is judged whether the difference in temperature is within a range of allowable value or not, and then it is discriminated whether it fulfills the allowable number of units or not. In case that the value fulfills the desired value, the load of a refrigerator 4 is calculated by a calory calculator 11 in reference to the temperatures of the temperature sensors 8 and 9 and the flow rate of cooling water in the flow meter 10. In the control device 12, a variation of the load in the refrigerator 4 is monitered by the calculation signal (f), and in case that the value of variation is a negative value and high, the fed cooling water temperature is increased. In this way, the increasing of temperature of the fed cooling water is varied in a stepwise manner in response to the variation in load of the refrigerator 4.
