PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display driver is provided to reduce current consumption of the driver and to supply a clear display of a liquid crystal display by increasing a voltage level supplied to the liquid crystal display at the point of time of activating the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display driver comprises a bias circuit, a first and a second load circuits and a switch signal generating circuit. The bias circuit(100) biases charges corresponding to power supply voltage in response to a liquid crystal display activation signal. The first load circuit(200) has a plurality of resistors(210,220,230,240) connected in series between the bias circuit and a ground voltage, and outputs first, second and third voltages(V1,V2,V3) of different levels in response to the charges from the bias circuit. The second load circuit(400) receives the charges, and adjusts the first to third voltages in response to a switch signals. The switch signal generating circuit(300) outputs an activated switch signal in response to signals(CLK,RSTB,LCDEN,STRONG) when the liquid crystal display signal is activated.
