PURPOSE:To accomplish inexpensively joining with high electrical reliability and excellent operability by pressing by bolting washers attached with lead wires to lead terminal parts for taking out the output of an oxygen concn. cell element formed by a sheet forming method. CONSTITUTION:Meshed electrodes 5 by a screen printing method are formed near one end of the surface of a zirconia ceramic blank 1 and lead terminal parts 2, 3 for taking out output are connected to both ends thereof. Through- holes 2a, 3a penetrating through the front 1b, and rear 1c of the ceramic blank and spacers 1d, 1e are formed at the center of the parts 2, 3. Single tongued washers 6 and spring washers 8 are superposed on the parts 2, 3 and bolts 9 are inserted into the through-holes. Spring washers 10 are pressed to the rear of the blank 1 as well and are screwed by means of nuts 11. One end of lead wires 7 for external take-out is brazed to each washer 6. The joining is thus inexpensively accomplished with electrically high reliability and excellent operability. |
