<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the activity rate of a combined machining line in which machine tools having different functions and performances are laid in combination, by making it possible to prepare machining data which are appropriate for machine tools in a production arrangement in consideration with the capacities and working times of the machine tools. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet metal machine consisting of a drilling machine and a cutter, a numerical control data file 2 is searched by a processing section 4 in accordance with the name of an article and the number of required machines on the basis of input data, so that the necessary number, kind and cutting data of sheet metal articles are obtained. The calculating factors of a machining time necessary for manufacturing the sheet metal article are delivered to the drilling machine and the cutter from a machining standard file 3 so that the machining time for manufacturing the sheet meral article is calculated. Then, the drilling data and cutting data are delivered to data preparing sections 5, 7, respectively, and therefore, the data preparing sections 5, 7 prepares drilling data 6 and cutting data 8.</p> |
