PURPOSE:To apply sufficient left and right pincushion distortion correction even to a type of device having a small screen distortion due to fluctuation of high voltage load by providing a prescribed amount of bias to a capacitor voltage generated in response to the brightness of the screen. CONSTITUTION:A circuit part A is added. A flyback pulse voltage (b) is impressed to a base of a transistor (TR)21 of the circuit part A via a capacitor 24 and the TR21 is turned on only during the horizontal blanking period. The capacitor 12 is charged by a collector current flowing to the TR21 in this case and a voltage across the capacitor 12 is increased by a prescribed amount. The capacitor voltage is increased until a voltage required for left and right pincushion distortion correction without giving affect on the amount of screen distortion correction due to fluctuation of high load caused by the charging of prescribed amount. A sufficient left and right pincushion distortion correction is applied even to a type of device having a small screen distortion due to high voltage load fluctuation in this way. |
